Joanne Diaz interviews Su Smallen Love in Madrid at the 2019 Unamuno Authors Festival. Joanne Diaz, gifted poet and professor of English at Illinois Wesleyan University, is the author of two poetry collections: My Favorite Tyrants, winner of the Brittingham Prize, and The Lessons, winner of the Gerald Cable first book award. Diaz co-edited Literature: A Portable Anthology, Reading and Writing about Literature: A Portable Guide, and The Little Magazine in Contemporary America and she co-hosts the wildly successful podcast Poetry for All.
